AAMI Stadium

AAMI.jpg

AAMI Stadium, the home of the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide, is South Australia's premier football stadium. The home team can always expect overwhelming and wholehearted support from the local fans. Visiting supporters, and Victorians especially, who dare to venture across the border should always expect a hot reception.

How to get there

A purpose-built bus terminal outside AAMI Stadium is serviced by buses from the city and across the suburbs on match days. Goolwa Bus and Coach Pty Ltd provide a transport service to AAMI Stadium for each of the Power and Crows games from the Fleurieu Peninsula.

For further details on timetables and routes, contact Transport SA on 1300 360 067.

There's no train direct to AAMI Stadium and the nearest station is at Grange.

On Friday nights and Sundays there's plenty of car parking available at the West Lakes Mall across from AAMI Stadium - more than enough to cater even for the bi-annual Adelaide-Port Adelaide AFL derby. Saturday afternoon fixtures can be a problem, however, when the football crowd and Westfield's shoppers are competing for spots.

Where to eat and drink

AAMI Stadium caters to the taste of all football followers. There is a wide range of food and drink available at one of the many food outlets and bars positioned throughout the ground.

If you are looking for a relaxing place to eat before the big game, then book in for a meal at the Crows Social Club. Bookings are essential on home game days and can be made by phoning 08-82443244.

The Lakes Resort at West Lakes - just 300 metres walk from AAMI Stadium - has a five star restaurant, bistro, sportsman's bar and pokies.

Nearby there's a wide range of international restaurants including Chinese, Greek and Italian located on Brebner Drive. The Links Hotel is 1.5 kilometres away on Tapley's Hill Road at Seaton and serves your traditional pub counter meals at very reasonable prices.

Henley Square at Henley Beach is only four kilometres away and has some wonderful places to eat including the Thai Orchid Restaurant, Red Rock Noodle Bar as well as several popular cafes.
