Rookie James Moss may be the only Crows-listed player left involved in SANFL league finals.

Moss, a late inclusion in Central District’s side which overpowered minor premiers Glenelg at Adelaide Oval on Sunday, will be hoping to hold his spot for the October 5 grand final. He had eight kicks and four handballs playing on a wing.

But the season is over for 18-year-old forward Taylor Walker, who lifted his season tally to 56.35 by kicking 3.3 in Norwood’s 71-point loss to Sturt. The Broken Hill recruit had 18 possessions and took five marks to complete an outstanding debut season in the SANFL.

In the SANFL reserves, Brodie Martin played across half back and in a back pocket, collecting 11 kicks and seven handpasses as Sturt booked a grand final berth with a 98 point win over Glenelg. Ed Curnow and James Sellar both worked hard for the Tigers but failed to have a big influence on the game.

Curnow played his usual role on the wing and in the midfield while James Sellar played a stint in defence while also playing up forward and in the ruck. Glenelg remains in the finals race and will face the Eagles in the preliminary final this weekend.
