Rookie Aidan Riley will make his league debut for SANFL club Sturt on Saturday.

The 18-year-old New South Wales recruit has forced his way into the first team with a series of powerful performances at reserves level.

Sturt takes on South Adelaide at Unley, with Shaun McKernan named at full forward for the Panthers and Daniel Talia in the back pocket.

Luke Thompson has been recalled to the Eagles’ league side for their clash with Glenelg at the Bay. The rookie has been named at half-forward. James Sellar will play his first game for Glenelg since straining a hamstring in round two of the AFL. Sam Shaw will play his first SANFL game of the year, starting on a wing for the Glenelg reserves.

Four Crows will be on show at Prospect Oval. North Adelaide has in-form Matt Wright named in a forward pocket, Tony Armstrong at half-back and Rory Sloane on a wing. For Norwood, Will Young will line up at full back.

There are no current Crows involved in Friday night’s game at Richmond between West and Port Magpies.

Central District has the bye this week.
