Four Crows will this weekend return to SANFL league football after long-term injuries.

Chris Knights, who had foot surgery in late May, has been named at half-forward for the Eagles, who take on Norwood at The Parade on Sunday. He will be joined by Brett Burton, back after knee surgery, in a side already featuring Jared Petrenko and rookie Luke Thompson. Jarrhan Jacky has been named in the Eagles reserves.

For Norwood, Will Young also returns after knee surgery.

And Brodie Martin, who played two games in the reserves to start his comeback from a knee reconstruction, has been named by Sturt as a possible addition to its side to take on Central District at Unley on Saturday. Aidan Riley has been named at half forward for Sturt and Jack Gunston will be in attack for ladder leader Central.

Chris Schmidt will line up in the middle for West Adelaide against South Adelaide, which has named Shaun McKernan to lead the ruck. Myke Cook has travelled to Perth as an emergency for the Crows.

Rookie Matthew Wright is the only Crow involved in the North Adelaide v Port Magpies game. He has been named in a forward pocket but will rotate through the midfield.

Glenelg has the bye this week.
