The first half of the SANFL split round saw only three Crows in action on Saturday afternoon.

Jack Gunston was one of Central District’s better players in their big win over West Adelaide. He played in a variety of positions and collected nine handballs, eight kicks, six marks and finished with two goals.

Glenelg defeated North Adelaide by 45 points at the Bay with rookie Matthew Wright and Phil Davis in action for the Roosters.

Wright played one of his better games at SANFL level finishing with eight kicks, 16 handballs and four marks. He ran hard all day to earn his disposals and his work in close was good.

Phil Davis played on Glenelg’s Kirkby and collected 10 handballs, four kicks, four marks and made seven defensive spoils.

Next weekend South Adelaide takes on Norwood and Port Magpies face Sturt, while the Eagles have the bye.
