Central District defeated Sturt in the only SANFL game on the weekend to finish off the split round, with two Crows in action.

Brodie Martin was one of the Double Blues’ best playing across half back. He collected 30 disposals and nine marks, creating a lot of run from defence and had a good work rate throughout the game.

Richard Tambling also played at half back and despite getting injured in the second term, he returned to the ground and finished with 18 possessions and nine marks and was strong defensively all day/

Luke Thompson played as a guest player with Central District’s reserves as the Eagles had the bye. He got through the game and put in a solid performance in defence.
