Ruckman Shaun McKernan made a positive return to the SANFL on the weekend after recovering from a badly corked thigh.

Spending most of his time as a forward in a losing team, McKernan kicked three goals and picked up 13 possessions.

Ricky Henderson, an emergency for the Crows in their last game against Fremantle, played his first game of the season at SANFL level and also had a solid hit-out, collecting 22 disposals and 12 marks for Central District. Sturt had the bye on the weekend.
