Some young Crows showed cool heads in the SANFL finals at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.
Key forward Lewis Johnston showed his class with four goals in North Adelaide’s elimination final win over 2011 premiers Woodville-West Torrens. And Adelaide’s two youngest squad members, rookie Rory Laird and Brad Crouch, played important roles for West Adelaide in its strong qualifying final win over Central District.
West now meets minor premiers Norwood next Sunday, with the winner advancing to the grand final.
North Adelaide will play Central District in the other final. The loser is eliminated from the finals race and the winner heads to the preliminary final against the loser of the Norwood and West clash.
