The Adelaide Football Club would like to update members in relation to a number of matters concerning Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide Oval Ultimate membership

Recently it was announced by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA) that the Ultimate Membership intended for Adelaide Oval, was being withdrawn from sale.  Since that time our Club has been working closely with AOSMA and the SANFL to determine the new mix of membership products that will be available within the Members’ Reserve at Adelaide Oval.

The aim for our Club is to ensure that the seating capacity regained through the withdrawal of the Ultimate Membership is utilised for the best possible outcome for our Club and that the eventual range of membership products meets our customers’ expectations.

It is envisaged that the Club will be able to communicate the details of packages that will be available for the Members Reserve, including package benefits and pricing, in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, we are able to confirm some arrangements for existing members:

  • All Essential Crows and AAMI Stadium Premier members will be able to retain their existing memberships at Adelaide Oval and will have entry rights into the Members’ Reserve in the Western Stand.
  • There will be optional reserved seating upgrades within the Members Reserve, as is the case at AAMI Stadium.
  • Existing Season Ticket holding members will be allocated a new reserved seat in the Southern, Eastern and Northern seating areas per the arrangements already advised.

Season Ticket holding members set relocation

The Club has made considerable progress in the relocation of Season Ticket holding members’ reserved seats into the new Stadium and we are receiving numerous enquiries from members regarding their status.

While the Club had been hoping to finalise the process by now, the potential for more seating to become available for Season Ticket holders as a result of the Ultimate withdrawal has meant that the relocation process has been delayed while the new membership mix is determined.

The Club will provide regular updates to members as we work through this process.

New members pre-sale

This week the Club will launch a pre-sale for 2014 season memberships at Adelaide Oval.

The registration will provide prospective new members with the opportunity to access the first round of 2014 new season membership offers.

Existing members should note that the pre-sale is for new members only.  If you are an existing member you will automatically receive an offer of membership for 2014 and you will not need to register for the pre-sale, except in the case where you would like to apply for additional season memberships.

The pre-sale opens Thursday, July 4, via afc.com.au.

Transport

The Club is continuing to work with the Adelaide Oval stakeholders in developing a detailed transport strategy that will deliver the best possible car parking and public transport options for members.

This includes optimisation of the existing metropolitan transport network that services the CBD as well as a range of parking options including discounted rates for members within commercial CBD car parks.

The Club is also working to ensure that parking spaces for the disabled and those who enjoy a pre-game barbeque are preserved in the immediate precinct.

Work on the transport plan is ongoing however the Club is pushing strongly to have arrangements finalised before members are required to commit to their membership renewal.

Construction progress

Construction is continuing on schedule and is on track to be completed for our Club’s first home match in the 2014 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
