The Adelaide Football Club would like to update members in relation to a number of matters concerning Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide Oval Virtual Venue™
In the next week, the Club will launch a 3D interactive seat map of Adelaide Oval, allowing members and supporters to experience Adelaide's 2014 home ground from their desktop.

The Adelaide Oval Virtual Venue™ will also be central to the relocation of existing Season Ticket holding members, who will be able to view and accept their allocated reserved seats within the system.

Reserved seat relocation (Season Ticket holding members)
Season Ticket holding reserved seat members (Silver, Gold, or Captain’s Club) will start receiving information regarding their new seat allocation for Adelaide Oval next week. Offers will be sent to the nominated Group Organiser at their supplied email address. Group Organisers who have not supplied an email address will receive their offer by mail. Members who were not required to nominate a Group Organiser will be sent their seat offer directly and will need to complete the process as per the Group Organiser procedure.

On receipt of their seat offer, Group Organisers will be able to log onto the Club’s Adelaide Oval Virtual Venue™, where they will be able to see the view and accept their seats. Information will also be provided on how to upgrade to Legend’s membership or change seats to an alternate location subject to availability.

Detailed information about how and when to do this will be supplied at the time.  In the meantime, Group Organisers who have not supplied an email address and would like to do so should contact Member Services. Please note, members who currently hold wheelchair and disabled access associates will be contacted directly by mail.

Essential Crows members
As the majority of Essential Crows members do not have a reserved seat, this category of membership will not be required to participate in the seat relocation process. Essential Crows customers who have upgraded to a season reserved seat at AAMI Stadium will receive further information regarding limited reserved seating options in the Adelaide Oval Members’ Reserve at a later date.

The reserved seating process for Essential Crows members will most likely be managed by the Stadium Management Authority and it is anticipated that existing reserved seat holders will be provided with the first opportunity to access seats for 2014.

Other membership categories
The Club will soon be in contact with non 11-game members (Premier, Crows Nest, Victorian, Blockbuster, Interstate, Boundary Line) wishing to register for 2014 season membership at Adelaide Oval.

Members are advised to contact the Club or update details directly via Account Manager to ensure a current email address and mobile phone number (for SMS communications) have been supplied.

New season membership categories

Legend's membership
In 2014 the Club will launch Legend’s membership, a new category of membership which offers premium reserved seating in the mid-tier of the new Eastern Stand.

Legend's membership benefits include:

  • Entry and reserved seat to all 11 Crows home matches at Adelaide Oval
  • Premium seating in the mid-tier of the brand-new Eastern Stand
  • Guaranteed opportunity to purchase a Grand Final ticket in the event that Adelaide is a competing team
  • Legend’s scarf, cap and seat cushion
  • Adelaide Football Club Member’s Kit
  • 2014 Official Year Book & subscription to The Pride magazine
  • Plus standard 2014 membership benefits.

Legend’s membership will be available in the first instance to existing members as part of the seat relocation process described above. Should any capacity remain after existing Season Ticket holding members have been offered the opportunity to upgrade, seats will be released for sale to the general public (with first priority given to new member pre-sale registrations)

General Admission (standing)
The Club will offer General Admission (standing) memberships for the first time in 2014, catering for fans that do not wish to be allocated with a season reserved seat.

General admission members will be able to access the stadium for all home matches (subject to capacity) and utilise the standing areas on the Northern Mound and in other areas of the venue.  The option to upgrade to reserved seating will also be available on a game-by-game basis subject to availability.

Members who wish to relinquish their reserved seat and take up General Admission membership should contact Member Services prior to the close off date advised in the seat offer.

Transport and car parking
The Club is continuing to work with the Adelaide Oval stakeholders in developing a detailed transport strategy and will deliver the best possible car parking and public transport options for members.

This includes optimisation of the existing metropolitan transport network that services the CBD, as well as a range of parking options including discounted rates for members within commercial CBD car parks.

The Club is also working to ensure that parking spaces for the disabled and those who enjoy a pre-game barbeque are preserved in the immediate precinct. The Club will continue to update members as details are finalised.
