2 – Podsiadly was rookie-listed twice before being recruited by Geelong and finally making his AFL debut in 2010. He was first selected by Essendon with selection No.58 in the 2000 Rookie Draft, but didn’t play an AFL game. The 193cm, 100kg, forward was also picked up by Collingwood with pick No.8 in the 2002 Rookie Draft but delisted after three pre-season games. The Cats gave him another chance with pick No.50 in the 2010 Rookie Draft after he impressed with the Club’s VFL side and also as a fitness coach.

32 – Podsiadly will be 32 years, 320 days when he plays his 100th AFL game on Sunday. ‘Pods’ will be the oldest player to reach 100 games since North Melbourne champ Barry Cable in 1977. Cable was 33 years, 270 days old. It will make him the 26th oldest overall in VFL/AFL history.

28 – Podsiadly was 28 years, 213 days old when he made his AFL debut for the Cats against Fremantle in Round Three, 2010.
