Sam Jacobs will play his 100^th AFL game on Saturday – 83 of those have been for the Crows.

Eagles ball magnet Matt Priddis is third in the AFL for disposals (482). Scott Thompson (438) is the highest-ranked Crow – 16^th overall.

Simon Goodwin holds the record for most goals by a Crow in a game against West Coast. Goody bagged seven against the Eagles in Round Two, 2008.

Chris McDermott holds the records for most possessions by a Crow in a game against West Coast. McDermott amassed 41 disposals in Adelaide’s second-ever game against the Eagles in Round 20, 1991.

Tyson Stenglein is one of four players to have played for both Adelaide and West Coast. The others are Chad Rintoul, Matthew Connell and Ian Downsborough.

Patrick Dangerfield is ranked second in the League for contested possessions (274). Only Swan Josh Kennedy (291) has won more. Priddis is fourth with 252.

For the second straight week, Adelaide’s AFL and SANFL teams will play against sides with the same nicknames. Last weekend, the Crows tackled the Collingwood and Port Magpies. This week, the Club will play the West Coast Eagles and Woodville-West Torrens Eagles.

Sam Jacobs is No.2 in the competition for hit-outs to advantage (179) – just one behind Fremantle giant Aaron Sandilands (180).

Josh Kennedy leads West Coast’s goalkicking this season with 38. Eddie Betts (36) is No.1 at Adelaide ahead of Josh Jenkins (34).

West Coast averages the second-highest percentage of contested possessions (40.5%) in the League. The Eagles are ranked 17^th for uncontested possessions behind only Gold Coast. They have the third-highest kick-to-handball ratio of any team.

The Crows are the fourth-highest scoring team in the AFL (1598 points for) behind top-five teams, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and the Sydney Swans.

After winning their first three games of the season, the injury-hit Eagles have lost 10 of their last 14. In contrast, the Crows have won nine of their last 14.

A capable goalkicking side, West Coast holds the record for the highest score this season. The Eagles posted a remarkable score of 30.8 (188) against Greater Western Sydney in Round Eight. They’ve also recorded one of the lowest scores this year, 4.8 (32) against Geelong in Round Four.

West Coast is also sound defensively. The Eagles are thesecond-best team in the League for generating turnovers in their forward halfand rank No.2 for time in forward half.
