North Melbourne star Brent Harvey will miss Saturday’s clash with Adelaide after being found guilty of misconduct at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.

Harvey was handed a three-game suspension for two counts of misconduct against Western Bulldogs onballer Liam Picken at Eithad Stadium on Sunday. The veteran will miss North’s final two minor-round games and also the Club’s first final.

Daniel Wells will also sit out because of suspension this week after accepting a one-match ban for two separate incidents in the Kangaroos’ win over the Western Bulldogs. The midfielder was cited for striking in the third quarter and faced a rough conduct charge from the final term, both against Bulldog Shaun Higgins. Taking into account Wells’ good record and an early plea, the combined points tally from both incidents resulted in a one-week suspension.
