West Coast premiership coach John Worsfold has ruled out a return to senior coaching next season.

Worsfold told radio station SEN on Thursday he wanted no part in coaching next season, but left the door open on a possible return after 2015.

"I've got a massive interest in coaching, I've taken a role with the AFL Coaches Association…but in terms of me stepping back into the main job, that's not on the cards, definitely not for the next 12 months," Worsfold said.

"By the time we get to this point next year I'll be starting to wonder whether I've finished with coaching all together or whether I'll be keen to get back in."

Sydney Swans assistant Stuart Dew is favourite with the bookies for the vacant Adelaide role. Essendon assistant Nathan Bassett and Hawthorn assistant Brendan Bolton are also fancied by betting agencies.
