Champion Data has compiled its own 2014 National Draft order based solely on the statistical output of this year’s draft crop.

Similar to many other mock orders, Christrian Petracca was rated by the AFL’s official stats experts as the No.1 selection, followed by key forward Paddy McCartin and Sydney Swans Academy player Isaac Heeney, who has been pre-selected by this year’s Grand Finalists with pick No.18.

South Adelaide small Caleb Daniel was the highest-rated South Australian at No.16, while Champion Data ranked Jack Steele at Adelaide’s No.14 pick, although GWS has already committed to selecting the midfielder with selection No.24.

The 2014 NAB AFL Draft will be held on Thursday night at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
