Adelaide’s Live on the Hill match day music returns to Adelaide Oval on Sunday with iconic Australian band Boom Crash Opera.

Still playing occasionally at festivals including A Day on the Green and Red Hot Summer, Boom Crash Opera had hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s with songs including Great Wall, Hands up in the Air, Onion Skin, The Best Thing, Dancing in the Storm and Get out of the House.

The band last year released a greatest hits album, The Best Things.

The Crows started the Live on the Hill concept last season when The Potbelleez played at the Thursday night game against Collingwood.

The Potbelleez DJs returned later in the season and New York based Australian band goodbyemotel also performed at a game.

More guests for some other home games will be announced in coming weeks.

Boom Crash Opera will be on stage from about 2.19pm and play for 20 minutes and then return for two songs during the half-time break.
