The Crows will go into Saturday’s twilight clash with Collingwood at Etihad Stadium as named.

Emerging midfielder Mitch Grigg, who returns to the Adelaide team, will start as the substitute. The Magpies are also unchanged, with Paul Seedsman to start in the green vest.

On Thursday night, the Crows recalled Grigg at the expense of another midfielder Jarryd Lyons, who started as the substitute in the Club’s Round One win over North Melbourne.

Grigg amassed 14 possessions and a goal in the first half of Adelaide’s SANFL trial match last weekend before being rested in the second half. The long-kicking left-footer was selected ahead of onballers Scott Thompson and Matt Crouch, who both played in Adelaide’s SANFL season-opener against North Adelaide on Saturday.

Defender Luke Brown, who was subbed out in the third quarter against the Kangaroos because of a corked thigh, will play. Lyons, versatile tall James Podsiadly and half-forward Brodie Martin are the emergencies.

Forward Josh Jenkins will play his 50th game in the twilight clash with the Magpies. The game starts at 4:35pm (local time) and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.

For fans heading to the game, the Club’s post-match function will be in the Legend’s Bar on Level 2 (via Gate 2) at Etihad Stadium. You can sit with the Crows Supporters Group at the Lockett End, Aisle 25 (via Gate 7).

The Crows will have an open training session at AAMI Stadium from about 9:30am on Friday (April 10) before flying to Melbourne. At the discretion of the AFL, Adelaide will wear its clash strip against Collingwood. It’s the first time the Club will don the new predominantly white guernsey featuring claw-like marks that reveal the tri-colours.
