Woodville-West Torrens stunned reigning premiers Norwood in the SANFL on Sunday.
The Eagles, who lost their first game the previous week to West Adelaide after leading by 30 points in the third quarter, held Norwood goal-less in the first half and went on to win by 81 points.
Goalsneak Lachlan McGregor was dangerous in attack for the Eagles with 3.4 and former Crows NSW Scholarship rookie Sam Martyn collected 30 possessions.
South Adelaide kicked away from Sturt late in the third quarter on Sunday and eventually won by 23 points. Magarey Medallist Joel Cross was the midfield star for South with ten clearances, 28 possessions and two goals.
Port Adelaide was too strong for North Adelaide, its AFL-experienced group led by Paul Stewart (31 possessions) guiding it to a 38-point win at Alberton Oval on Saturday.
Adelaide started well against West Adelaide on Friday night, kicking the first four goals of the game. But West steadied and then took control of the game in the second half.
In the other Friday night game, Glenelg booted the opening four goals against Central District before the momentum changed. By the last change Central led by 35 points before the Tigers cut the gap to 15 points at the final siren.
Paul Thomas, who spent the 2002 season on the Crows rookie list, played his 250th SANFL game for the Dogs.
Adelaide will play Glenelg under lights in one of the two SANFL games on Friday night, the eve of Anzac Day. Norwood and Port will play at Adelaide Oval.
There will be two games on Anzac Day, at Prospect (North and South) and Elizabeth (Central v Eagles) and the round is completed when Sturt hosts West on Sunday.
