Sturt kicked the last six goals of the game to overrun West Adelaide in Sunday’s SANFL game.

West led the round four clash by 12 points late in the third term but the home side then made the most of its chances, dominating the last term to win by 26 points.

Ben Hansen kicked four goals for Sturt and former Magpies Zane Kirkwood and Kane Beard were also prominent, while West captain Chris Schmidt won 12 clearances and had 33 possessions.

Woodville-West Torrens won at Elizabeth for the first time in 11 years on Saturday.

Matt Goldsworthy starred in the 40-point win and Lachlan McGregor booted four goals.

South Adelaide defeated North Adelaide by 16 points in a low-scoring game at Prospect on Saturday.

The lights went out on Adelaide’s wet Friday night clash with Glenelg but Norwood bounced back from last week’s big loss to the Eagles to defeat Port by 21 points at Adelaide Oval.

Norwood’s Peter Persinos kicked four goals to be awarded the Bob Quinn Medal for best afield.
