Crows captain Taylor Walker has been nominated for Mark of the Year.

Walker earned a nod for his hanger against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on Saturday night.

The skilful forward got a nice ride on the back of young Suns defender Kade Kolodjashnij and took a strong two-handed grab as another opponent tried to spoil from behind.

Greater Western Sydney defender Nick Naynes and Carlton star Dale Thomas are the other Round Six nominees for Mark of the Year. Cast your vote for the mark of the round.

AFL fans will be given the chance to vote for their favourite mark and goal each week in order to go into the running for the weekly cash prize of $200 and the major cash prize of $5000 at the end of the season, thanks to Weet-Bix and Coates Hire.

Weekly nominees will be selected by the AFL Media editorial team and the weekly winners will be determined by public voting. Voting opens 12pm each round the day after the last game and will close the night before commencement of the next round (exact days of the week may change depending on fixture).

At the conclusion of the home and away season, the All-Australian Selection Committee shall select the three best goals and marks from the 23 weekly selections. The selection will be based on a 5/4/3/2/1 vote given by each member of the selection committee.

The top three selections for the Weet-Bix Mark of the Year and Coates Hire Goal of the Year will be placed on www.afl.com.au on September 14. The overall winners will be selected by public voting which will close on September 24.

The Weet-Bix Mark of the Year and Coates Hire Goal of the Year will be announced prior to the 2015 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
