LAST WEEK’S NEWS
For many of us, including myself, we were hoping for a bigger return from Cam Ellis-Yolmen (MID, $358,000) who was coming back from a hamstring injury. Many Fantasy coaches held the dynamic Crow, hoping he’d repay the faith with a big score. Sadly, that wasn’t to be as he had one of his worst scores for the year with 56pts.

Big Sam Jacobs (RUC, $544,000) led the way for the Crows this week with 130pts. Captain Taylor Walker (FWD, $445,000) tried his heart out kicking four goals (115pts) and my ‘on the radar’ player from last week Mitch Grigg (FWD/MID, $328,000) continued his hot run with another solid 87. Grigg has now posted scores of 87, 89 and 83 over the last three weeks and is still a worthy selection in your forward line.

ON THE RADAR
Options are beginning to look pretty slim at Adelaide in the ‘bargain department’. Brodie Smith (DEF, $382,000) would be the only guy I’d be looking at, providing he is back in the line up next week after a knock left him concussed in Round Seven. His unlucky run of injuries has seen him drop over $80,000 in price. He averaged 88 in his first four games this year and can be a top-five defender when he gets back to his best.

TOP 5 SCORERS
1 – 130 Sam Jacobs (RUC, $544,000)
2 – 115 Taylor Walker (FWD, $445,000)
3 – 110 Patrick Dangerfield (MID, $553,000)
4 – 88 Matt Crouch (MID, $361,000)
5 – 87 Mitch Grigg (FWD/MID, $328,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP
This week, the Crows are at home against the undefeated Dockers and I feel an upset is on the cards. Patrick Dangerfield (MID, $553,000) only managed 66 against Fremantle last year and will enjoy playing them this week without a tag from Ryan Crowley. Dangerfield has been great this season, scoring 110 and 122 in his last two games and I’m expecting him to lead from the front this week.

All the best for the round ahead. Go Crows!
