Scott Thompson won a game-high 10 clearances from his 28 possessions – a team high against the Brisbane Lions. Thompson also generated six inside 50ms and kicked a crucial goal in the final quarter.

The two-time Club Champion was involved in more scores (10) than any other Crow - 37 per cent of all of Adelaide's scores.

Young Crow Matt Crouch was the next-best clearance-winner on the ground with eight. Crouch finished with 26 touches.

Emerging forward Charlie Cameron used his speed and skill to send Adelaide inside 50m seven times – a game high. Substitute Cam Ellis-Yolmen collected 11 possessions, four marks and two inside 50ms when he was injected into the game midway through the third quarter.

After kicking only 5.13 (43) in the first three quarters, the wayward Crows nearly doubled their score in the final term. Adelaide slotted 6.3 while holding the Lions goalless to record a come-from-behind 13-point win. Eddie Betts got involved with two last-quarter goals.

While starts have been a concern in several games, Adelaide generally finishes games strongly. The Crows have won seven of 12 final quarters this season, outscoring the opposition 40.43 (283) to 31.33 (219) in last terms.

Adelaide generated more inside 50ms (60) than any other team in Round 13. The Crows also had the highest percentage of contested possession (47.4 per cent). The Club ranked second for tackles (70) on the weekend.

Captain Taylor Walker took a team-high eight marks. Walker could’ve had a day out, but his radar was off and he finished with 2.5. His second goal was a clutch kick to put the Crows in front for the first time in the last quarter.

Patrick Dangerfield had three goal assists – the second most of any player in Round 13.

The win was Adelaide’s fourth away from home this season. The Crows sit in seventh spot on the AFL ladder, as one of four teams with a record of seven wins and five losses.
