This will be one of the toughest matches many of these players ever play with both sides still coming to terms with the death of Phil Walsh. West Coast is better placed to handle the game given the Eagles played last week despite receiving the news only 24 hours earlier. The Crows have not played at all and how they handle the week, their preparation, the build-up and the game will be a great unknown. Given the attacking prowess of both sides it is likely to be a high-scoring affair as it was last season.

THE SIX POINTS

1. Josh Kennedy booted five goals and Andrew Gaff starred with 31 disposals and three goals in the Eagles' win over the Crows in 2014. Scott Thompson had 31 touches for the Crows.
2. Both sides have had a lot of forward entries this season. Adelaide is ranked second for inside 50s averaging 55.7 per game. West Coast is ranked third with 55.2 per game.
3. The Eagles continue to be a high scoring side in 2015, averaging 105 points per game. They've kicked 100 points or more seven times.
4. West Coast has dominated Adelaide at Domain Stadium winning 11 games to five. But the Crows have won two of the past three.
5. The Eagles are low in tackles laid this season. They are ranked 16th, averaging 62.8 per game. The Crows sit ninth with 66.6 per game.
6. Eagles key forwards Josh Kennedy (74) and Jack Darling (103) are ranked well ahead of Adelaide's Josh Jenkins (217) and Taylor Walker (252) on the Official AFL Player ratings.

IT'S A BIG WEEK FOR … Scott Selwood. The Eagles' vice-captain has not found his best form since returning from his ankle injury. He started as the sub last week and Adam Simpson said there is pressure on for spots. Selwood would love a big day in the midfield.
