Promising forward Mitch McGovern will play his first game in over a month in Adelaide’s SANFL clash with West Adelaide at City Mazda Stadium on Sunday.

The SANFL Crows have also been bolstered by the addition of midfielder Matt Crouch and defender Sam Siggins as the Club chases consecutive SANFL wins for the first time this season.

McGovern, 20, has been sidelined since Round 10 with a knee complaint. He’s played just five games since joining Adelaide via pick No.43 in last year’s National Draft.

The West Australian kicked three goals in a half against the top-placed Eagles in his last outing for the SANFL Crows.

Tough-nut Crouch hasn’t featured at State League level since Round Four. He’s played his last nine games in Adelaide’s senior side, but has been named on a wing for Sunday’s SANFL clash at Richmond.

Siggins, who missed the Crows’ win over North Adelaide due to illness, has been added to an extended interchange bench, which must be trimmed by two on game day.

Golden Grove development player Brock Castree is the only omission at this stage.

James Podsiadly, Jarryd Lyons and Sam Shaw are the emergencies for the Club’s AFL clash with Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

Adelaide has won three of its last five games at SANFL level, including a record-breaking 101-point victory over the Roosters last round.

The SANFL Crows remain winless against the Bloods however, who recorded a 29-point victory in the last meeting between the two teams in Round Three.

Crows ticketed members receive free entry to Sunday’s match, which kicks off at 2.10pm at City Mazda Stadium. Live audio coverage of the game is also available via the SANFL website and smartphone app.

All five games are scheduled for Sunday afternoon as part of the SANFL’s Charity Round.

South Adelaide and Norwood collide at Noarlunga in a clash that could have a huge impact on the top five.

The Eagles will be hot favourites to topple Glenelg at the Bay, while Sturt must upset Port Adelaide at Peter Motley Oval for any hope of a last-gasp finals appearance.

Central District and North Adelaide go head-to-head at Prospect Oval in the final match of Round 15.
