Rory Sloane and Daniel Talia will both be available for selection for Adelaide’s clash with the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday.

Talia was subbed out in the second quarter of the Club’s Showdown win on Sunday with concussion, but has been cleared to play and was able to join in some training on Thursday.

Sloane hasn’t played since fracturing his cheekbone for the second time against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba in Round 13. The 2013 Club Champion has been participating in non-contact drills for the past fortnight and completed main training wearing a helmet on Thursday morning.

Interim Senior Coach Scott Camporeale said the key duo would be fit to take on the Suns.

“Sloaney just had to get through a main session, where we do a fair bit of match simulation,” Camporeale said.

“He hasn’t done a lot of that because we’ve had to keep him away (from contact) but he’s been able to run for the past four weeks, so physically … he’s covering the ground as well as anyone.

“He just had to get through a main session and have some confidence getting battered around again. He trained in it (a helmet). I guess that will be up to the medical staff and him as to whether he needs to wear it.”

Adelaide's team to tackle the Suns will be named on afc.com.au at 5:55pm (SA time) on Thursday.
