Lions leading goalkicker Josh Green is set to make an early-than-expected return from injury against Adelaide on Saturday night.
Green hasn’t played since Brisbane’s Round 14 clash with Fremantle, where scans confirmed a stress fracture in his foot following the match.
The 22-year-old trained with the main group on Wednesday and has been named in the Lions’ side to confront the Crows at Adelaide Oval.
He replaces Brisbane vice captain Daniel Rich, who has been sidelined with a glute injury.
