Mitch Grigg has emerged as Adelaide's leading vote-getter at the SANFL’s Magarey Medal count for the third year in a row.

Grigg, 22, didn’t poll until Round 14 but scored all 10 of his votes in a five-round burst late in the count, overtaking fellow midfielder Jarryd Lyons on nine votes.

Grigg played nine SANFL games in 2015, averaging 25 possessions at 75 per cent efficiency. He kicked a goal in all but one of his State League games this year.

Forward James Podsiadly finished with eight votes, including two best-on-ground performances in the closing two rounds, to be the third-best Crow at the SANFL’s night of nights.

Matt Crouch, Scott Thompson, Cam Ellis-Yolmen and Matthew Wright were also rewarded with three-vote games throughout the season.

Sam Kerridge attracted votes in three games, while Rory Atkins, Ricky Henderson, Brodie Martin and Ian Callinan were other Crows who featured.

South Adelaide onballer Joel Cross claimed his second Magarey Medal with 25 votes, ahead of Woodville-West Torrens’ Angus Rowntree (21) and Central District veteran Paul Thomas (20).

Triple Magarey Medallist James Allan was fourth with 18 votes while young Bulldogs midfielder Travis Schiller rounded out the top five on 17 votes.

Inaugural Crow Rodney Maynard and two-time premiership player Brett James were inducted into the South Australian Football Hall of Fame as part of the event at Adelaide Oval on Monday evening.
