Adelaide Crows Captain’s Club member Angela McLean is $40,000 richer after winning the 2015 Adelaide Crows Football Development lottery.

The 45-year-old from Port Augusta took a phone call from Crows CEO Andrew Fagan last week advising her of the win.

Ms McLean and her husband Michael Geldhart own the MJ Geldart Design Jewellers in Port Augusta and always have a Crows lottery book on their counter.

There were a few unsold this year so Angela bought them before returning the book to the Club.

Now she is $40,000 richer and has already booked a holiday to the United States next year to go to the jazz and blues festival in New Orleans.

Ms McLean chose the $40,000 over the Toyota Rav 4, while there were 18 other prizes drawn from the 114,000 tickets sold.

Tickets for the 2016 Adelaide Crows Community Lottery will be available from the end of November.
