Crows recruit Paul Seedsman will wear the No.11 for his new Club.

Seedsman, 23, joined Adelaide in October’s AFL Trade Period. The long-kicking wingman/half-back played 49 AFL games for Collingwood after making his debut in Round One, 2012.

The ANZAC Medallist, who wore No.40 for the Pies, takes over locker No.11 from Matthew Wright, who will play for Carlton next season. Wright is one of only four Crows players to have worn the No.11 in an AFL game for premiership points.

Former captain and 100-game player Tony McGuinness was the inaugural owner of the jumper. Brett James wore the No.11 in two premierships for the Club (1997 and 1998), while defender Michael Doughty is the most-capped player in the jumper, having donned the number in 229 of his 231 AFL games. Doughty passed the jumper onto Wright following his retirement.

On Friday, it was announced that rookie Alex Keath will don the No.42.

The remaining numbers, including those for Adelaide’s draftees and newest rookies, will be revealed in the coming days. The confirmed new jumper numbers for Season 2016 so far are:

3 – Riley Knight
11 – Paul Seedsman
17 – Curtly Hampton
20 – Hugh Greenwood
32 – Troy Menzel
36 – Dean Gore
42 – Alex Keath
