Our fans agreed with the media and coaches, clearly voting Tom Lynch as the Most Valuable Crow in the Showdown.

Lynch, who kicked six goals from 21 disposals to clinch the Showdown Medal, received 38% of the total votes awarded online by the fans after the win.

Next best was Rory Laird, who received 22 points to add to the ten he picked up in round one against North Melbourne.

Eddie Betts was the next most popular, earning 11 points for his five-goal effort.

Josh Jenkins maintained his lead, adding five points to the 36 he scored in the opening round.

Voting opens after every game and stays open until about 5pm on Tuesday.

Assign three votes to the player you deem to be the best Crows player, two votes to the second best player and one vote to the third best.

At the end of the voting period all the votes are added up but there are a maximum of 100 points per game that can be awarded to the entire team. Each player is then given a percentage of the total votes received to go towards their season tally.

At the end of the year the player who is at the top of the season leaderboard is crowned the Fans’ Most Valuable Player.
