Adelaide’s SANFL team will be strengthened by the return of Troy Menzel for Sunday’s clash with North Adelaide at Prospect Oval.

Menzel was concussed in the opening term of Adelaide’s game against Glenelg a fortnight ago, forcing the 21-year-old onto the sidelines last weekend. The lively left-footer, who has kicked a goal in every full game he’s played this season, has been named at half-forward for Sunday’s match with the Roosters.

Jarryd Lyons also returns to SANFL action for this first time since Round Two. Lyons was promoted to the senior side last month and played four consecutive AFL games. The 23-year-old will start in the centre square for the SANFL Crows on Sunday.

Development players Josh Wittwer, Matthew Johncock and Tyson Lindsay will all play their first SANFL games of the season, while Matthew Leigh will play his maiden game for the SANFL Crows against the Roosters.

Riley Knight (ankle), Alex Keath (knee soreness) and Wayne Milera (AFL duties) were all late withdrawals from the match on Sunday morning.

In-form defender Ricky Henderson and onballer Brad Crouch were included for Adelaide’s AFL clash with the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium. Scott Spriggs, who made his first appearance for the SANFL Crows last round, has been omitted.

The SANFL Crows booted their biggest score in a 101-point win over the Roosters the last time they met in Round 14 last season. The two teams have shared the spoils with two wins apiece from all four previous meetings.

Crows ticketed members receive free entry to Sunday’s clash at Prospect Oval, which kicks off at 1.10pm, upon presentation of their 2016 membership card. The match will also be broadcast live on Channel 7 and will be followed by The Crows Show at the special time of 4pm.
