The Western Bulldogs and Adelaide game on Saturday was adjudicated reasonably accurately, says umpires coach Hayden Kennedy.

The Bulldogs won the free kick count 28-12 as they finished victors by 15 points.

Crows coach Don Pyke said after the game the Club would contact the umpires department for clarification on some of the decisions.

Kennedy said on AFL.com.au a review of the game showed not a whole lot was missed.

"The actual differential between the two teams doesn't change that much, it changes by one or two," said Kennedy.

"The Bulldogs were first in for the ball. There was some poor tackling, I suppose, from both sides."

Adelaide contacted the umpires on Tuesday morning.

"We thought the holding the man at stoppages we could have improved upon. They'll get back to us if they want, with more specific details," he said.

Kennedy said the free kick disparity did not matter when it came to analysing how the match was officiated.

"It's a really funny thing this week, in that most of the hysteria has been as a result of the actual count," he said.

"The count is irrelevant.

"What we need to try to work out is which ones are correct, and which ones are… unwarranted and missed, because they're the things we need to coach our umpires on."
