Rory Sloane led from the front on Friday night against Geelong, amassing a game-high 147 AFL Fantasy points, the third-biggest score of his career.

Sloane had 28 possessions, including six marks, a goal, six free kicks for and an equal-game high 11 tackles.

His 147 was the second-best score of Round Eight, behind only North Melbourne’s Sam Gibson who tallied 149.

The massive total was also the most points scored by any Crows player this season, blitzing Rory Laird’s 136 he scored in Showdown XL.

With an average score of 118.3 over his past three games, Sloane is one of the top Fantasy performers across the League piling on $48,000 in value over that period and sporting an attractive break even of 68 heading into Round Nine.

Despite his relatively low price tag in the realm of elite mids, Sloane has only made the cut for around four per cent of Fantasy coaches. Expect his ownership to rise ahead of Adelaide's clash with the Gold Coast Suns this weekend.

By the numbers: Round Eight

Joining Sloane in the centurion club were Ricky Henderson and Sam Jacobs.

Henderson, in only his second game of the season amassed 25 possessions, including a game high 11 marks, for a Fantasy score of 112, the fifth-highest total of the round for any dual-position player.

Henderson may be a temptation for some Fantasy coaches, with a break even of 60 for Round Nine provided he holds his place in the team with Rory Laird expected to return in the coming weeks.

After a slow start to the season, Sam Jacobs will be starting to gather some interest after another strong performance that earned him 108 Fantasy points.

Jacobs had 20 possessions against the Cats, including 37 hit-outs and four marks for his best Fantasy performance of the year.

His average of 98.7 over the past three rounds sees him as one of the most consistent ruckman in the competition and with an average of 102 at Metricon stadium his good form could be set to continue.

Deserving of a mention too is Charlie Cameron with his season-best total of 86 points.

Cameron has been building over his past three games, averaging just shy of 80 and with a break even of 34 his stocks could soar in the coming matches.
