For the second straight year, Eddie Betts has conjured another miracle goal from the north-western pocket of Adelaide Oval that simply defies belief.

But which Betts beauty was his absolute best? It’s a question that has no definitive answer given the quality of both goals, so we've put it to the people to decide.

Almost 12 months ago to the day, Betts nailed a mind-blowing left-foot torpedo punt against Fremantle in wet conditions which somehow sailed through the big sticks. The long-range major was a worthy Goal of the Year winner.

Eddie’s latest effort was equally as amazing and could earn him another Goal of the Year title.

Betts lunged on a loose ball near the boundary, stopped, propped and exploded along the line to evade two GWS opponents before snapping a miraculous major from about 40m out.

Both goals were kicked from practically the same spot at Adelaide Oval, and both were kicked during the AFL’s Indigenous Round celebrations.

It begs the question whether ‘Eddie’s pocket’ should be permanently moved given his two latest contenders have both come from the ‘wrong’ flank at Adelaide Oval.

Betts booted an epic banana from the boundary in 2014 which was only good enough to be runner-up in the Goal of the Year, but saw the north-eastern pocket of the ground unofficially renamed in Eddie’s honour.
