Adelaide’s SANFL team has been bolstered by the addition of Wayne Milera Junior and Ricky Henderson for Sunday’s crunch game with Norwood at Coopers Stadium.

Milera, 18, will play his second SANFL game for the Crows after featuring in Adelaide’s previous four AFL matches. The speedster collected 22 possessions and kicked three goals in his last SANFL appearance against South Adelaide in Round Six.

Henderson’s last SANFL match was also against the Panthers before he was promoted to the senior side for Round Seven’s AFL clash with the Western Bulldogs. Sunday’s match will be the 27-year-old’s sixth state league outing of the season.

The pair has been named on opposite wings for the game against the Redlegs.

David Mackay has been recalled for Adelaide’s trip to Perth to confront West Coast on Saturday night after a strong return from injury last round. Milera, Henderson and midfielder Brad Crouch are the emergencies for the fixture against the Eagles.

Nathan van Berlo is also out of the SANFL side with a foot complaint, while development player Trent Heffernan has been omitted after playing four consecutive league games with the SANFL Crows.

Tyson Lindsay, Matthew Leigh and Dylan Schoenmakers – the cousin of Hawthorn premiership player Ryan - have been added to Adelaide’s extended interchange.

Experienced defender Andy Otten will stand in as captain for the second consecutive week in Luke Carey’s absence.

Adelaide defeated Norwood for the first time in the previous meeting between the two teams late last year. The Redlegs hold the overall advantage head-to-head 3-1. Ex-Crows Lewis Johnston and Anthony Wilson are confirmed starters for the home side.
