Young midfielder Matt Crouch scored the biggest AFL Fantasy total of his career in Adelaide’s disappointing 30-point loss to Geelong on Saturday night.

Crouch was the only Crow to post a triple-figure total at Simonds Stadium, edging out the likes of Patrick Dangerfield and Jimmy Bartel to record a game-high 128 points for his third Fantasy ton of the season.

The 21-year old relished the soggy conditions in Geelong on Saturday night, notching a team-high 31 disposals, an equal-team high 12 contested possessions and topped his performance off with a game-high eight tackles.

Crouch has benefitted from greater opportunity at AFL level this year. He’s missed just two matches and has averaged a handy 89 Fantasy points along the way.

Crouch has now piled on $63,000 in value this year and will take a break even of just 78 into Sunday’s clash against Essendon.

After notching a well-deserved first Fantasy ton of his career in Round 17 against Collingwood, Jarryd Lyons impressed again, putting together a strong display to record 99 points against the Cats.

It’s the fifth time this year that Lyons has scored in the 90s and like Crouch, Lyons is enjoying the most consistent year of his still-young AFL career, averaging 87.5 across 13 games.

Lyons had 24 possessions against the Cats, including seven tackles and three marks in tough, slippery conditions.

The 24-year old is one of the big Fantasy improvers in 2016, having piled on $199,000 in value across his 13 games and adding another $10,000 for his efforts on the weekend.

By the numbers: Round 18 v Geelong

Also worthy of a mention is big Crow Sam Jacobs who once again stamped his credentials as a premier Fantasy ruckman.

Jacobs narrowly missed out on his third consecutive Fantasy ton, recording 98 points on Saturday night in tough conditions for talls.

‘Sauce’ amassed 41 hit-outs up against Geelong’s ruck tandem of Rhys Stanley and Mark Blicavs, which was equal second-best across the competition behind only Greater Western Sydney’s Shane Mumford.

With an average of 108.7 over his last three games, Jacobs is the one of the form Fantasy ruckman in the AFL and looks set for another big weekend against the Bombers back at Adelaide Oval.
