Fans can rub shoulders with Crows Hall of Famer Tony Modra and a host of other Riverland football legends at Sunday’s SANFL blockbuster against West Adelaide in Berri.

Modra, Adelaide’s greatest goalkicker, will join fellow country footy icons Russell Ebert, Neil ‘Knuckles’ Kerley, Rodney Maynard and Grantley Fielke in a special VIP viewing area for Sunday’s clash at Berri Oval.

VIP tickets are still available for Sunday’s match against the reigning premiers. The $69 package includes entrance fee, unlimited drinks between 1.00pm – 4.30pm, continuous finger food throughout the game and a chance to meet and mingle with ‘Mods’ and the gang.

General admission pricing is $14 for adults, $8 concession and children under 18 receive free entry. Crows ticketed members also receive free access to the match upon presentation of their 2016 Membership Card. Car parks are also available for a gold coin donation.

Modra, Ebert, Maynard and Fielke will also compete in a half-time shootout MC’ed by Kerley as part of the landmark match.

Modra burst onto the AFL scene after dominating with Riverland Football League club Renmark Rovers. He booted 440 goals in 118 games with the Crows and is the Club’s only Coleman Medallist.

Ebert was born in Berri but played with the Loxton Football Club before joining Port Adelaide in the SANFL. Ebert also played 25 VFL games with North Melbourne in 1979 and is the only player to win four Magarey Medals.

Barmera’s own Kerley is a West Adelaide premiership player and coach, and also a four-time best and fairest winner with the Bloods.

Inaugural Crow Maynard hails from the Murray Mallee town of Lameroo and played in 81 games across five seasons for Adelaide.

Fielke, another inaugural Crow from Loxton, is West Adelaide's games record-holder and featured in 24 matches for the Crows after one season with Collingwood in 1987.

Gates open at 9.45am at Berri Oval on Sunday with a curtain-raiser between Renmark and Barmera’s under 18s beginning at 11.15am.

The main event between Adelaide and West Adelaide starts at 1.10pm.
