Reilly O’Brien and Cam Ellis-Yolmen will strengthen Adelaide’s SANFL lineup for Sunday’s clash with reigning premiers West Adelaide in Berri.

O’Brien returns to SANFL level after playing the first two AFL games of his career in the past fortnight. The competitive ruckman, who turns 21 on Saturday, was squeezed out of the senior side this week due to the return of Sam Jacobs from an ankle injury.

Midfielder Ellis-Yolmen also played his first AFL game of the year two weeks ago against Brisbane. The 23-year-old served as the travelling emergency for last week’s trip to Perth and did not feature at any level.

Development duo Trent Heffernan and Matthew Leigh have also been included on the extended interchange, which must be trimmed by two players on game day.

Ruckman/forward Luke Lowden has been ruled out after injuring his ankle late in last week’s win over Norwood. Defender Alex Keath will also miss due to a back complaint.

Jonathon Beech, who was promoted to the Club’s senior list on Thursday, Ellis-Yolmen, and Ricky Henderson are the emergencies for Saturday night’s Showdown XLI.

A host of Riverland football legends, including Coleman Medallist Tony Modra, will be in attendance at Sunday’s clash at Berri Oval. Click here for more information
