Adelaide has finalised its SANFL Semi-Final side for Sunday’s clash with South Adelaide.

Tall duo Paul Hunter and Luke Carey will miss the match at Adelaide Oval.

Sam Shaw is the only player on Adelaide’s injury list, creating strong competition for spots in both sides. It’s the first time the Club has been forced to leave out a listed player from the SANFL side.

Experienced defender Andy Otten will captain the side in Carey's absence.

Paul Seedsman headlines four inclusions for the all-or-nothing SANFL Semi-Final against the Panthers.

The long-kicking defender will be joined by returning talls Alex Keath and Luke Lowden and utility Ricky Henderson for the clash.

Seedsman was a late withdrawal from last week’s Elimination Final against Central District.

The 24-year-old hasn’t played since Adelaide’s AFL clash with Brisbane over a month ago due to a corked buttock injury. His last SANFL appearance was against Woodville-West Torrens in late July.

Lowden was also a late omission from last week’s win over the Bulldogs. The 206cm ruckman/forward is set to play his first game in four weeks after sustaining an ankle injury against Norwood.

Key defender Alex Keath also hasn’t played since the Round 20 clash with the Redlegs. The athletic rookie has overcome a spinal injury and has been named on an extended interchange bench.

Crafty goalkicker Dylan Schoenmakers and hard-running midfielder Scott Spriggs join Hunter and Carey as the omissions.
