As the final funds come rolling in for the 2016 Redline Classic, which is conducted in support of the Crows Children’s Foundation, it looks set to be the most profitable ride since the inaugural event in 2011.

A group of 20 riders and a team of support crew embarked on the 400km fundraiser which travelled from Adelaide through the Barossa Valley in October.

The Foundation is the chosen beneficiary for the ride, which proved a real challenge this year with very cold conditions, strong winds and plenty of rain.

That didn’t affect the fundraising though, with this year’s Classic – the 6th edition – raising more than $60,000. This brings total funds raised by the event to more than $180,000.

The Crows Children’s Foundation would like to once again thank you everyone who was involved, both on and off the bike, with a special thanks to leading fundraiser Craig Hornibrook.

Thanks also to the generosity of Bicycle Express, Toyota and the Watermark Hotel.
