Several of Adelaide’s biggest names are set to reach significant milestones next year.
The season could start with a dual milestone match for Sam Jacobs and Charlie Cameron.
Jacobs is in line to play his 150th AFL game in the Club’s season-opener against Greater Western Sydney at Adelaide Oval. The ruckman has played 132 games as a Crow since crossing from Carlton ahead of the 2011 season. He has been a reliable and durable performer, missing just three games in his six seasons in the tri-colours.
Cameron is poised to play his 50th game against the Giants in Round One. The former rookie played every game after breaking into the senior side in Round Five this year and has kicked 58 goals in his three seasons at the Club.
Scott Thompson is 11 games away from surpassing Nigel Smart as the fifth-most capped Crow of all time. Thompson has played 307 career games, including 268 with Adelaide, and could jump Mark Bickley (272), Simon Goodwin (275) and Smart (278) before season's end.
Thompson is also 14 games away from Tyson Edwards, who played 321 matches, for total AFL games played.

Fellow midfielder Richard Douglas could become the 15th Crow to play 200 games. The 2010 Club Champion will notch the milestone against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium in Round Five at the earliest.
The 150-game milestone is in sight for Rory Sloane and Taylor Walker.
Reigning Club Champion Sloane is only nine games away from game No.150 while captain Taylor Walker could crack the milestone in the final weeks of the minor round.
Forward Josh Jenkins (93) and defender Luke Brown (91) are likely to reach the century and Tom Lynch (83) could also reach the 100-game milestone in the second half of the season. The mark is also within reach of key backman Andy Otten (79).
Defenders Kyle Cheney (77) and Rory Laird (76) would need Adelaide to play finals for a third successive season to reach 100 games.
Both Crouch brothers are closing in on their first milestone matches. Matt (47) leads older brother Brad (41) in the race to game No.50.
Jake Lever (36) and Rory Atkins (32), who both played every game last season, are on track to reach the half-century. Troy Menzel (40) is another who could reach his 50th game.
Fourteen Crows are yet to make their AFL debut.
