Crow Sam Jacobs scored a perfect 10 votes from the coaches at the MCG on Saturday.
Jacobs, 28, was influential in the air and at ground level against Hawthorn.
The ruckman won 43 hit-outs and took a round-high six contested marks.
He also gathered 15 possessions, four clearances and kicked a goal.
Coaches Don Pyke and Alastair Clarkson judged Rory Sloane as the next-best player on the ground.
Sloane starred in the final quarter to finish with 25 possessions (15 contested), a game-high eight clearances, six marks, six inside 50ms and a goal. He also laid a Club record 15 tackles and applied more pressure acts (42) than any other player on the ground.
Adelaide’s leading possession-getter, Tom Lynch, received four votes.
Lynch amassed 31 disposals, a game-high 14 marks and a goal in his team’s 24-point win.
Captain Taylor Walker (two) was the other Crow to poll on Saturday. Walker kicked two goals from 21 possessions and eight marks.
The two biggest ball winners on the ground, Hawthorn pair Jaeger O’Meara and Tom Mitchell, rounded out the voting.
Mitchell picked up 38 disposals and kicked a goal, while O’Meara had 36 possessions.
Jacobs was one of five players to earn maximum votes in Round Two. Richmond skipper Trent Cotchin, North Melbourne’s Shaun Higgins, Melbourne defender Christian Salem and Robbie Gray of Port Adelaide were the other players to earn top votes.
Prolific Essendon onballer Zach Merrett, who received nine votes for his performance against the Brisbane Lions, and Power vice-captain Ollie Wines share top spot on the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year leaderboard after two rounds with 18 votes.
Jacobs and defender Rory Laird (10 votes) are the highest-ranked Crows.
