Adelaide and Port Adelaide have met 41 times. The Power hold a narrow overall advantage, 21 – 20.

The Showdown ledger hasn’t been level since Round Three, 2008, when the count was 12 – 12.

The Crows have won four of the past five matches between the two teams including the last three in succession.

As a Crow, Eddie Betts has kicked 24 goals in six matches against Port Adelaide. This includes 10 goals in the last two Showdown encounters.

Fellow forward Tom Lynch has averaged three goals in his last three games against the Power.

Port Adelaide has won more contested possessions (321) than any other team in the opening fortnight of the season.

The biggest crowd ever for a Showdown was 53,518 at Adelaide Oval in Round 16, 2015.

Saturday night’s game will feature some of the AFL’s current biggest clearance winners. Crows vice-captain Rory Sloane has won the fourth most clearances (17), while Port Adelaide trio Sam Powell-Pepper, Ollie Wines and Brad Ebert are equal-sixth with 15.

Sloane has won 11 centre clearances – second only to Greater Western Sydney star Dylan Shiel (14).

The All Australian and two-time Crows Club Champion also ranks third in the AFL for tackles (19).

Wines ranks second for groundball gets with 26 – two more than reigning Showdown Medallist Matt Crouch, who will play his 50th AFL game this weekend.

Crouch ranks equal-third in hard-ball gets (15) after two rounds.

Eye-catching Crow Mitch McGovern ranks equal-first in the competition for score involvements (22). Betts is equal-third for score assists (six).

Port Adelaide (125) and Adelaide (120) are No.1 and No.2 for inside 50ms so far this season. They are also the two highest-scoring teams after two rounds. The Crows have scored 260 points – five more than the Power (255).

The Power have scored 98 points from stoppages this season – second only to North Melbourne (101). The Crows are ranked second in scores from turnovers (174) behind Greater Western Sydney (174), while Port Adelaide is third (151).

Power star Robbie Gray, who kicked six goals last weekend, has averaged 29 possessions and two goals in his last three Showdowns.

Gray is a two-time Showdown Medallist. Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs is the only other current player with two Showdown Medals to his name.

Mark Ricciuto has won more Showdown Medals than any other Crow. Ricciuto claimed three Showdown Medals including the inaugural medal in 2000 (the medal wasn’t awarded in 1997-99). 

Jacobs set a Club record of 61 hit-outs against Port Adelaide in Round 15, 2012.

Peter Vardy and Tony Modra share the record for most Crows goals against the Power. Vardy slotted seven in Round 19, 1998, while Modra bagged seven in Round Four, 1997.
