Fans have an opportunity to watch some potential future Crows in action at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

South Australia will take on the Northern Territory in Round One of the NAB AFL Women’s Under-18 Championships at 4:35pm on Saturday.

The match will be played as a curtain-raiser to the AFL game between Adelaide and Melbourne, which starts at 7:10pm. A ticket to the AFL game will need to be purchased for entry to both games.

The South Australian squad includes eight players eligible for the 2017 AFL Women’s Draft in October.

Last year, AFLW Rising Star and All Australian Ebony Marinoff enhanced her draft standing with a dominant display, which included kicking the winning goal, for SA in an all-ages game on Adelaide Oval.

The 19-year-old midfielder was selected with the Club’s first pick in the inaugural AFL Women’s Draft.

Marinoff and Crows AFLW premiership teammates Courtney Cramey and Kellie Gibson will be part of the AFL’s commentary team on Saturday. The match will be livestreamed on AFL.com.au.

The AFL Women’s Under-18 Championships has been expanded this year following the success of AFLW.

Running across two weekends, this year’s Championships will see nine teams from across Australia compete in two rounds to showcase the best young talent in the country.

Three games will be held in Adelaide, with South Australia to meet Tasmania on Friday, May 12 from 6pm at the West Adelaide Football Club.

The NT and Tassie teams will then face-off at 10am on Sunday, May 14, also at West Adelaide. Entry to the two games at West Adelaide is free.

At the completion of Round One, the best players from SA, NT and Tasmania will be selected in an Allies side to take on NSW/ACT, Western Australia and Queensland in Round Two of the Championships.
