AFL Fantasy is in a state of uncertainty, as team owners strive for consistency in what is becoming an increasingly unpredictable season.

The Crows had just two players reach triple figures on Saturday, going down to the Demons at Adelaide Oval.

It’s the first time this year Adelaide has had fewer than three players crack the Fantasy ton.

Sam Jacobs recorded his second-best total for the season, collecting 132 points off the back of a dominant ruck display.

The ruckman had 74 hit-outs, a career-high for Jacobs and the second highest total in AFL history.

He’ll need to chase North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein for the record, who collected 80 hit-outs in Round 12, 2015.

Rory Laird had a first half to remember, entering the main break with 22 disposals. He finished with 37 touches and a goal, recording 111 points in the process.

It’s the fifth game in a row that the defender has topped 100, firming his status as one of the most reliable Fantasy prospects available league-wide.

Richard Douglas (97) fell just short of the ton, recording 22 disposals and nine tackles. He was followed by Matt Crouch (89), Brodie Smith (88) and Rory Atkins (83).

Fantasy favourite Rory Sloane was held to 63 points, the result of a fierce tag placed by former teammate Bernie Vince. The midfielder still managed to make an impact off the ball, recording a game-high 12 tackles.

Team owners will look for Sloane to return to his blistering early season form on Saturday night, the popular Crow is set to play his 150th game against the Lions at The Gabba.
