Hugh Greenwood has firmed as a valuable AFL Fantasy addition, scoring 94 points in just the third game of his career.

Greenwood amassed 18 disposals while leading Adelaide with a team-high 11 tackles and nine clearances.

The former basketballer’s stock is quickly rising. Now valued at $259,000, Greenwood could prove a cost-effective solution with strong potential for Fantasy team owners.

The hard-at-it midfielder started the season on Adelaide’s rookie list, an untested commodity at AFL level and valued at just $150,000.

He’s since firmed as a valuable pickup, with two 90-point plus games in three weeks forcing a $109,000 spike following his debut in Round Nine.

Greenwood’s total fell just shy of Brad Crouch, who led Adelaide’s Fantasy scoring on a what was a disappointing night against Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Friday.

Crouch was the only Crow to crack the Fantasy ton, scoring 101 points and recording 28 disposals in the process.

It’s the fourth time this season that the midfielder has reached triple figures, now averaging 93.4 points a game.

Sam Jacobs followed with 93 points, winning the ruck battle with 45 hit-outs against Geelong’s Zac Smith.

Sauce is now Adelaide’s second most expensive Fantasy asset, available for a premium of $584,000.

Rory Sloane (92) notched 23 disposals and seven tackles, while Tom Lynch (90) had 20 touches, four inside 50ms and two goals.

Now averaging 116 points, owners will look for Sloane to bounce back to his scintillating early season form against St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
