St Kilda is searching for its first win at Adelaide Oval having lost all six games at the venue.

If selected, two Saints are set to reach milestones on Friday night. Forward Mav Weller is on track for his 100th AFL game, while ruckman Billy Longer could notch game No.50.

Rory Sloane has averaged 31 possessions and nearly two goals in his past three games against St Kilda.

One of the most-improved players in the competition St Kilda onballer Seb Ross is averaging 29.8 possessions per game. Ross leads the Saints for inside 50ms and clearances.

The Saints like to generate space by switching the ball to the open side of the ground, and move the ball along the boundary line more than any other team (42.4 per cent).

Switching the ball quickly allows the Saints to generate uncontested possessions. They play on from the mark 35.2 per cent of the time – ranked third in the AFL.

Dylan Roberton is a key to St Kilda’s transition from defence. The third-ranked defender according to Champion Data points, Roberton is averaging 15.8 effective kicks – ranked No.2 in the competition.

He is sixth for rebound 50ms and leads the Saints for metres gained (4,846) – ranked 20th in the AFL.

Wingman Rory Atkins is the highest-ranked Crow with 5,323 metres gained to be ninth overall.

Saint Jack Steele is fifth in the League for forward 50m tackles (20).

Steele is the 10th best pressure player according to Champion Data with 594.5 pressure points. Sloane is second with 694.2 pressure points.

Sloane and teammate Richard Douglas have each forced 45 turnoversranked No.1 in the League.

Crows forward Eddie Betts has kicked 12 goals in his past three clashes with St Kilda.

Betts has had more disposals in attacking 50m (95) than any other player this season.

The Saints will be without leading goalkicker Nick Riewoldt this week because of injury. Versatile forward Tim Membrey is second in the club’s goalkicking with 15.

Matt Crouch is third in the League for groundball gets (112) just ahead of All Australians Dustin Martin and Josh Kennedy (109 each) of the Sydney Swans.

Friday night’s game will acknowledge the 20-year anniversary of Adelaide’s first premiership. The Crows defeated St Kilda by 31 points in the 1997 AFL Grand Final.
