Mitch McGovern will play his first game in more than two months in Saturday’s twilight SANFL clash with Norwood.

Paul Seedsman is also set to play his maiden match of the year against the Redlegs.

McGovern, 22, tore his hamstring in Adelaide’s Showdown XLII victory over Port Adelaide in Round Three.

The high-flying forward has been cleared to return for his first state league appearance since the final round of Season 2015.

Seedsman, who has overcome lingering groin issues, hasn’t played at any level this year.

The pair is among four additions to Adelaide’s SANFL squad for the clash at Coopers Stadium, which kicks off at 4.10pm.

Wingman David Mackay has been named for his first SANFL outing in more than 12 months. The 28-year-old is an emergency for Friday night’s AFL clash with St Kilda at Adelaide Oval alongside young defender Tom Doedee and ruckman Reilly O’Brien.

Versatile backman Sam Tharaldsen has also been included from the Club’s SANFL development list.

Reigning State League Club Champion Jonathon Beech and hard-running youngster Riley Knight will line up against the Saints at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.

Two players will be withdrawn from Adelaide’s extended interchange on game day.

The SANFL Crows will confront a few familiar faces in Saturday’s clash with the Redlegs, which is Adelaide’s only SANFL game under lights this season. Full match preview

The match begins at 4.10pm at Coopers Stadium in Norwood. Crows ticketed members receive free access to the clash upon presentation of their 2017 membership card.

A live audio stream of the game is available via the SANFL official website or smartphone app.
