Riley Knight is among four inclusions to Adelaide’s SANFL squad for Saturday’s clash with Central District at My Money House Oval.

Knight returns for his third appearance at State League level this year after being squeezed out of the Club’s AFL team to take on Hawthorn on Thursday night.

The hard-running 22-year-old has been named in a forward pocket for Saturday’s clash with the Bulldogs, which kicks off at 2.10pm at Elizabeth.

A further three players have been added from the Club’s SANFL development squad.

Defender Damon Hill, Hahndorf utility Josh Wittwer and key forward Tom Pinyon, who made his SANFL debut in Adelaide’s Round Seven victory over North Adelaide, have all been added to an extended interchange.

Tyson Lever (collarbone) and Sam Tharaldsen (knee) have been sidelined by serious injuries sustained during last round’s two-point win over Norwood.

Dynamic forward Mitch McGovern will play a second State League match as he continues his comeback from a hamstring injury. The high-flying 22-year-old bagged four goals in Adelaide’s thrilling win over the Redlegs.

Wingman Paul Seedsman has also been named for his second outing of the year in his comeback from a lingering groin complaint.

Harrison Wigg, David Mackay and Reilly O’Brien are on standby for Thursday night’s AFL blockbuster against Hawthorn but will play at SANFL level if not required at Adelaide Oval.

The SANFL Crows could jump as high as third on the League ladder with a win over Central District this weekend. The Bulldogs boast a strong record against Adelaide and notched a convincing 54-point victory in the most recent meeting between the two teams. Full match preview
