Scott Thompson adds strength to a settled Adelaide lineup for Saturday’s SANFL clash with West Adelaide at City Mazda Stadium.

Thompson, 34, returns to state league duties after featuring in Adelaide’s AFL victory over the Western Bulldogs last Friday night.

The midfielder heads three inclusions to Adelaide’s SANFL squad for this week’s clash with the Bloods, which begins at 2.10pm.

Utility Matthew Leigh is set to play his first game for the Club since Round Eight while fellow development player Blake Launer is in the mix for his second SANFL match of 2017.

Matthew Signorello, who suffered a concussion in last week’s SANFL Showdown loss to Port Adelaide, has been named in the side.

A 21-man team will be finalised on match day.

Willunga tough nut Braden Altus is the only omission at this stage.

Utility Jonathon Beech, first-year Crow Jordan Gallucci and wingman Paul Seedsman have been named as senior emergencies for Saturday night’s AFL clash in Darwin against Melbourne.

West Adelaide remains in last place on the SANFL ladder but has won two of its past three games. The Crows will be targeting a return to the winner’s list following back-to-back defeats at SANFL level. Full match preview
